Duties: (Other duties may be assigned)
The Information Technology Specialist I is a support member within the Information
Management & Technology Services Department and will provide support services for
computers, peripherals, servers, network equipment and software/hardware needs. This
position will work closely with all IMTS members, end-users and coordinate support
efforts with 3rd Party support vendors whether onsite or remotely. This position will have
an emphasis on customer support to provide excellent customer service for all end
users.
Requirements:
Two-year degree in Computer Science and/or Technical School Completion required or
three years of experience in computer operations or providing technical computer
support for users with some networking and telecommunication support. Must possess
excellent communication skills. Certifications in A+, Network+, and MCSE (2016 track)
are desirable but not required. Other combinations of experience and education that
meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.
