Position Objective

Konica Minolta currently has an exciting opportunity for an

ECM SMB Solutions Engineer!

The

ECM SMB Solutions Engineer architects, develops, and administers customized document management solutions for the Konica Minolta BIS Small / Mid-Sized Business (SMB) customer base. Responsible for determining / documenting technical requirements and implementing comprehensive "end to end" document capture, scan, store and retrieval solutions.

Essential Job Functions

Essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Build and expand relationships with key customer contacts
  • Perform business analysis and needs assessments to customers and partners
  • Requires consultative solution development skills with ability to incorporate software, Professional Services, and hardware requirements
  • Design, deploy and support both client/server and next generation web-based document access solutions
  • Provide excellent customer service and experience throughout the course of a project
  • Provide technical end-user training classes in support of the implemented document management solution
  • Author knowledge-base and tech tip articles to offer self-help for customers
  • Acquire and maintain required technical knowledge of relevant product/service offerings, as it pertains to document capture, storage, retrieval, electronic workflow, data and systems integration
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

  • Experience implementing ECM solutions preferred
  • Three years or greater industry / programming experience
  • Self-starter with demonstrated initiative
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Technically adept and business savvy
  • Creative thinker possessing the ability to adapt to a wide range of environments across vertical markets is critical
  • Ability to execute within a team structure
  • Technically literate, with an aptitude to understand, present and position solutions to customers
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook)
  • Desktop support experience preferred
  • Significant experience with Windows Server Infrastructure and Windows Networks
  • Knowledge of Windows platform infrastructure (ASP.Net, IIS, Message Queuing, Authentication) preferred Database (SQL) skills, specifically SQL Server
  • Knowledge of web programming languages such as HTML, JavaScript, etc. is preferred
  • Strong technical implementation and troubleshooting skills
  • Business maturity with a "can-do" attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills are required

Experience, Educational Reqts and Certifications

  • Two- year college degree or satisfactory completion of a business curriculum from an accredited school and/ or equivalent work experience
  • Microsoft MCSE - Preferred
  • CDIA+ Certification - Preferred
  • ECMs Certification - Preferred
