Due to an internal move, we have a vacancy for a Financial Accountant to join our team on a 12-month full time basis. Reporting to the Financial Assurance Manager, this role will see you providing support across the Financial Assurance team for month end processing, balance sheet reconciliations and Ad-hoc tasks. This includes assisting with balance sheet reviews and commentary on month on month / year to date variances, procedure documentation, donation processing, and more.
To be considered a successful candidate, you will possess the following:
- CA or CPA qualified (or in the process of completion)
- Minimum of 2 years full time work experience in a similar role
- Experience in the Aged Care/Health sector (desirable)
- Strong financial understanding and knowledge of key accounting concepts
- Advanced Microsoft Excel & Office skills
- High level of accuracy and an eye for detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
