Job Description

Your Role:

You will be at the center of digital strategic decision making for a major global automotive brand. You will work directly with executive management to establish digital priorities, roadmaps, and define the business objectives for a comprehensive ecosystem of digital products. You will help to build the business case for new products, secure buy in across the organization for the overarching digital strategy, and be the voice of the customer for optimizations and new product innovation. You own the “why” behind every digital decision and look at the overall impact to the business when determining how to prioritize multiple competing strategic opportunities. You keep your eye on the BIG changes going on in the automotive industry and use data to create compelling visions of the future.

A Successful Candidate Profile:

  • Collaborative industry expert who is able to work across all digital disciplines and speak the many “languages” of marketing, branding, design, UX, and technical experts.
  • A persuasive, data based communicator who is comfortable presenting to executive level clients regularly.
  • A leader within digital strategy, someone who keeps their eye on what’s next both within the automotive industry but also within the digital capability landscape.
  • Has a functional understanding of marketing, branding, go-to-market strategy, and customer experience strategy.
  • Must be comfortable with quantitative business models, ROMI analysis, and other ROI related permutations.
  • Must be able to distill complicated ideas into their simplest pieces and then democratize them to various clients (internal and external).
  • Entrepreneurial and opportunistic leader who pursues opportunities without specific oversite.
  • Must be a strong and proven people manager, capable of advocating for the role of strategy in various workflows and manage the day to day work of a small team of strategists.
  • A proven client partner who can help to identify new opportunities and “pitch” new investments as needed.

Qualifications

Nice to have:

  • Background and comfort with financial analysis, statistics, data science, or other quantitative field
  • Explicit experience in business development and pitch work, preferably in an agency setting
  • Agency experience as a client partner or discipline lead
  • Automotive or transportation experience a plus
  • Google Analytics certification and familiarity with measurement and attribution strategies

Career Level:

  • Mid-Senior Level/Senior Level
  • 5+ years of agency experience or relevant client facing roles
  • 10+ years of career experience in consulting, general management, strategy, UX, or digital strategy

Education:

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or other quantitative fields.
  • MBA or Master’s in Management strongly preferred

Other Considerations

  • Candidate preferably located in Atlanta, NYC or open to travel 20% of the time.
