Job Description

As a

Sr. Manager You will create a Continuous Improvement roadmap, including a problem-solving methodology toolkit that is trained and engaged with all Team Leaders within Supply & Deliver and our 3PL, tracking and challenging the actual saving achievements.

You will:

  • Act as a change agent in the organization, establishing smart manufacturing principles in cooperation with Marketing and Manufacturing.
  • Help BIC improves industrial efficiency and decision-making process as well as reducing non-value-added activity throughout Supply & Deliver operations (Co-packing, Warehousing, Supply Planning, Freight, and Customs) to support revenue and profitability growth.
  • Manage within the boundaries of 6 Supply & Deliver regional budgets (NAM, LAM, EU, MEA, APAC, INDIA) influencing them (co-packing, warehousing, freight & customs)
  • Collaborate with enterprise executives on a strategic level and across business units to scope, plan and rapidly implement high-impact enterprise initiatives.
  • Partners with key stakeholders and evaluates all Operational Excellence activities, as well as implements plans to optimize performance and processes.
  • Lead strategic projects for improvement across all levels of the organization, engaging several teams directly or collaborate with Managers and 3PL to re-engineer processes.
  • Participate in the new co-packing/warehouse centers opening and ensure BIC processes & best practices are correctly applied with respect to cost-effectiveness and productivity.
  • Lead cost-saving and agility improvement programs in Global Supply & Deliver with a focus on top cost drivers (co-packing, warehousing, and freight) and sustainability.
  • Lead to identify the needs of each production unit and apply the appropriate lean tools in each of them by considering the maturity level of each production unit and the different cultures.
  • Work in partnership with IT to consider digitalization in all improvement projects.

You`ll succeed if You have:

  • +8 years of exposure to Supply Chain concepts and deep understanding of Co-Packing, Internal Physical Flow Management, Logistic Network Design, Inventory, etc.
  • +5 years in manufacturing / co-packing projects
  • Experience in lean manufacturing tools (i.e., value stream mapping, Kaizen, Spaghetti Diagram, root cause problem solving) to identify and develop solutions that drive operational & cost improvement.
  • High English level, Spanish will be highly valued
  • Cross-team coordination, problem-solving, project management, and executive presentation skills.
  • Obsessed with continuous improvement: naturally eager to do things better, faster, and cost-effective.
  • Ability to influence a team through a matrix organization, successfully lead cross-functional teams, and manage multiple complex project plans.
  • Confident at challenging the status quo, both influencing and challenging decisions at a Senior Management level.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to reduce complex problems into simpler ones.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Systemsor related. Master in Business Administration,Operations, Finance or related.
  • 3 years of regional/global experienceimplementing continuous improvement projects.
  • 5 years of experience leading and implementing continuous improvement in Supply Chain areas (Co-packing, Warehousing, Supply Planning, Freight, and Customs)
  • Green Belt or Black BeltCertificaction is a plus
  • Advanced English
