The Dixon Co-op Market is seeking applicants for a full-time General Manager. The Market is a small, cooperative grocery store and deli serving the surrounding communities and seasonal travelers. The successful applicant must be an honest and reliable person who can deal well with the public, handle stressful situations, and work well as a team with other Co-op employees. Duties encompass all aspects of running a retail grocery/deli, including inventory ordering and receiving, supervising staff and community volunteers, opening and closing the store, budgeting, cash handling, helping in the deli, customer relations and continuous collaboration with the Market Board of Directors. Retail grocery experience desired. Must be flexible and willing to work weekends. Starting at a minimum of 30 hours per week, with pay depending on experience.
