Accounting Analyst

Below are the position details:Title: Accounting AnalystTenure: 6 Months CTHLocation: New MexicoREQUIRED SKILLS:Job DescriptionQualifications:• Experience with using QuickBooks is a must • 1 – 3 years of work experience in finance or related fields • Cooperative team player with proactive communication style • Strong analytical and process improvement skills • Solid Knowledge of accounting principles • Strong Microsoft Excel skills • Ability to organize, manage and prioritize work for self; able to work both independently and in a team environment • Experience developing and presenting performance reports to management enabling them to leverage and maximize financial resultsAssociates Degree in Accounting, Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (preferred)Major responsibilities for this position will focus on: • Responsible for monthly close of books in QuickBooks and submitting information to SEE • Responsibility for AP/ AR and payroll • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations • Prepare inventory reporting and invoicing for month end. • Compile invoices and purchase orders for accurate billings and approvals • Run open purchase order reports and work with management and supervisors to close out completed purchase orders. • Posting of journal entries, including monthly and quarterly accruals • Prepare monthly financial reports and submit to SEE • Prepare and analyze various outputs for monthly reporting for the IFS NAM P&L • Highlight internal control issues with recommendations and follow up • Supervise the chart of accounts, databases, and monthly reconciliationsApply: Interested candidates can apply with their detailed word formatted resume along with their contact information\availability to Phone (off) -Ext 131.
