Ranch/farm worker
A part-time position is available for a mature individual needed to help care for a small farm/ranch near Stanley, NM. The hourly wage for 16-18 hours (possibly more) a week depends on qualifications and experience. The ranch laborer will assist in caring for a small number of livestock, including horses, donkeys, sheep, hogs, chickens, dogs, and cats, located near Galisteo. You'll need experience with animal husbandry, hauling animals, and monthly unloading of hay and 50 lb bagged grain. Minor handyman/equipment maintenance will also be required for the houses and living areas. Being detail-oriented, organized, multitasking, and motivated are key attributes for success. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required. The individual will follow a routine daily/weekly duties list and work collaboratively with management—references are required. Basic English language skills are necessary.
