Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs Resort & Spa has added a new position! We are looking for a full-time Assistant Retail Sales Manager to assist the Retail Manager in directing the day-to-day operations of El Mercado. You will provide a strong customer service leadership presence and inventory control, while ensuring that all customers receive excellent service and quality merchandise. You may also assist with administering the online retail store.

At least three years customer service and operations experience in a high traffic retail/gift shop with at least one of the three years in a supervisory role.
E-commerce sales experience a plus.
Familiarity with POS/cash register. Knowledge of best practices in cash management, and in facility and safety control. Ability to ensure compliance with policies and practices.
Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
Knowledge of and experience implementing inventory management and merchandising best practices.
Dependable, strong team player, friendly, patient, and self-motivated.
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Effective interpersonal skills.
Excellent problems solving and organization skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
Availability by phone to support company needs.
Must be dependable and flexible with work schedule and available to work all shifts including weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Able to meet the physical demands of the job which include: standing for long periods of time; lifting 40 or more pounds; climbing a ladder; bending; squatting; stretching; kneeling; dusting; cleaning.
