Job Description
Experienced Electrical Engineers to our Mexico Team for work on Data Centres and High Tech projects. This opportunity will provide fantastic prospects to further your career with a top global project consultancy company working on some of the region’s most important projects.
We are looking for someone with at least 10 years post-graduation experience in Electrical Engineering area, mainly in Design / Construction phases, able to lead a construction team on the electrical facility aspect of the project. Candidates should preferably have experience in the Data Centre and High Tech Manufacturing sector, with special knowledge of all aspects of Electrical Engineering areas. Scheduling and costing experience will be a bonus.
This is a complex high tech project, where candidates must be self-motivated and agile and enjoy working face to face with Clients as an expert on his/her field, taking on responsibilities for the correct delivery of the electrical project to the client
ResponsibilitiesManagement of Electrical specialties in Data Centres projects
Analyse electrical and special installations verifying that are fulfilled with the technical specifications of the project and Mexican legislation norms
Follow up to the design process, identifying best practices and improving opportunities
Assist in the development of construction process and commissioning
Follow up to the cost estimate of the program, with capacity of recommending optimization opportunities
Coordination with the construction team in order to fulfil with the times and quality of project
Verify that all installations are in line with standards and guidelines on project specifications
Assist in the development and implementation of process and best practices for the Data Centre project
Development of quality and schedule reports for the Electrical installations
Report to the PM lead all risks and mitigations on the Electrical part of the project
Qualifications
Bachelor´s Degree in Industrial, Mechanical-Electrical Engineering
-Minimum of 10 years professional experience.
-Data Centres Experience
Management of Electrical specialties in Data Centres projects
Analyse electrical and special installations verifying that are fulfilled with the technical specifications of the project and Mexican legislation norms
Follow up to the design process, identifying best practices and improving opportunities

Report to the PM lead all risks and mitigations on the Electrical part of the project.
Facilitate and participate in design reviews
Should be able to understand the scopes of work/drawings/documents and clarify any doubts of the Contractor.
Should be able to Review and evaluation of contractor bids
Should regularly communicate with Operation Manager on day-to-day site activities
Interpretation, application, and implementation of National Code & Standards
-ICREA or UPTIME Certification a plus
