Job Description:
Position Summary Develops solutions and processes for delivering features based on their knowledge of design and architectural patterns and Agile practices. Ensures the system design and requirements are aligned to achieve desired business outcomes. Provides expertise through experience with multiple and complex software implementations and has developed knowledge for a number of technical competencies. This role will support the check return function and a variety applications that support it. The role includes application management and governance functions in addition to those listed above. Role is responsible for all aspects of application lifecycle from design through development, testing, implementation and production support. Required Skills- A bility to provide technical direction and oversight to lead a project as technology solutions are delivered.
- Knowledge of design and architectural patterns as well as Agile and DevOps principles and use them to develop both solutions and processes for delivering the features.
- Capable of supporting line of business product owners from a technical lens by ensuring systems design and business requirements are aligned and developed as such.
- Provide excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with scrum masters, architects, product owners and developers to ensure requirements are well defined and capable of being easily translated to stories.
- Experience managing application governance deliverables.
- History of providing existing application support to Windows and mainframe environments.
- Banking industry experience in check processing and return item processing.
- Familiarity with image exchange standards and file format structures.
- Working knowledge of products, services, business flows and understanding of financial context in which technology and operating principles are used.
