NTT DATA, Inc., a top 10 global IT services company, has an immediate need for an ATRAINER Level II to support our State Government client ONSITE in Albany, NY 12207ROLE TRAINER Level IIINDUSTRY State Government DURATION 48+ month Contract, probable extension LOCATION ONSITE in Albany, NY 12207 ONSITEResponsibilities:

  • The trainer will be a key contributor to the financial management workstream that is a part of the overall Integrated Eligibility System (IES) program.
  • The trainer will describe, detail, and explain the project manager s experience in implementing policies and procedures related to SNAP, HEAP, Public Assistance, Medicaid, Child Support, Child Care, and/or Adoption programs.
  • The trainer will assist with creation of documentation and process flows that describe and illustrate the current delivery of financial management services via systems and business processes that support SNAP, HEAP, Public Assistance, Medicaid, Child Support, Child Care, and/or Adoption programs.
  • The trainer may engage with social services districts and state agencies to gather and present information as well as communicate with district staff, state staff, and program leadership.
  • The trainer will assist with the definition and process flows for future delivery of financial management services via systems and business processes. This may include defining business requirements, assisting with design activities, delivering system demonstrations, participating in user acceptance testing (UAT), and assisting with training, and contributing to organizational change management (OCM) activities
Mandatory Qualifications:
  • Between four (4) and seven (7) years of experience as a trainer.
  • More than four (4) years of experience working for a social services district or state agency in New York State in the field of financial management (e.g., finance/accounting/claiming), such as authorizing and/or issuing payments to clients and service providers, monitoring expenses, and/or claiming funds from state and/or federal authorities.
  • More than four (4) years of experience with New York State financial management systems with mandatory experience in BICS, CAMS and CBIC. Candidates much specifically list experience with these systems and the context in which that experience was acquired
Secondary Qualifications:
  • More than five (5) years applying financial management policies, procedures, rules, and/or regulations in one or more of New York State s SNAP, HEAP, Public Assistance, Medicaid, Child Support, Child Care, and/or Adoption programs.
  • More than three (3) years working for a social services district or state agency in New York State in a supervisory or mentorship position while demonstrating the innovation, flexibility, critical thinking exhibited by a change champion.
  • More than three (3) years working for a social services district or state agency in New York State in which the candidate was responsible for building teams, improving team skill sets, communicating policy changes, and overall effective delivery of financial management services in support of New York State s SNAP, HEAP, Public Assistance, Medicaid, Child Support, Child Care, and/or Adoption programs
