- Understand and document business goals and technical specifications.
- Understand and document personas and UX research reports.
- Generate sitemaps and information architecture.
- Develop experience maps, user journeys and user flows.

- Perform usability testing and generate usage analytics reports.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Sciences, Engineering or Computer Science and 5 years of relevant experience, with increasing independence and complexity of assignments.
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UX design.
- Proficient with visual design programs such as Adobe Photoshop and others.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment to create top-performing interfaces.
- Experience with coding and ability to troubleshoot using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and comparable languages.
- Professional written and interpersonal skills when communicating with uses and development staff.
- Experience creating storyboards and website mapping
- Prior work with New York State
