Our gable end home has a porch that needs to be torn off and replaced. I am looking for a crew of 2-3 people who have skills with the following:
- Dig holes, Pour concretes piers
- Constructing floor deck out of pressure treated lumber.
- Creating shed style roof, asphalt shingle covering.
- Installing posts, creating skirt frame.
- Painting
- Estimate 2 weeks of work for 2 people.
- Constructing and attaching stairs.
- We have a rough idea of how to build this - but you have to be independent enough to work out the details.
The current porch is 5 deep, 20 long. We are expanding depth to 8', keeping width at 20'.
We got the zoning board to approve this change - want to move forward with this work ASAP.
I will pay $20 (cash) per hour for labor for each individual and we will pay for all supplies, or if you prefer to give me a quote w/ supplies included, we can work with you that way. You could do this on the weekend throughout the summer if you'd like. We can do the permit, get the dumpster, get the order for supplies placed from Curtis lumber - you execute the labor.
