Permanent PT position working for a Postal Contractor in Amsterdam, NY. Great for a retiree looking to supplement SS or pension. CDL B with medical card or Class D with medical (we can help with getting this) and box truck driving experience. Must pass USPS security screening, clean MVR (some minor violations OK) and pass pre employment drug screening. We deliver bulk mail, mostly in wheeled containers, from Amsterdam to Post Offices in the area on a regular route schedule (NO HOME DELIVERY) Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds.
Current open position is every Friday and Saturdays, 16 hours per week:
Friday AM : 4:15 am - 9:00 am
Friday PM: 2:00 pm - 6:15 pm
Saturday AM: 4:15 am - 9:00 am
Saturday PM: 3:00 pm - 5:15 pm
Must be able to cover time off for our other employees in the area as needed. Great for a retired person looking to supplement their pension or SS.
