If so, lets talk.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesIBM is searching for a Corporate Environment Affairs Professional.This is a position on IBM's Corporate Environmental Affairs staff, reporting to the Director, Environmental Governance and Product Stewardship. An individual will support external reporting and disclosure of information related to IBM’s environmental programs and performance, along with internal environmental recognition programs. Working with technical subject matter experts, the individual will develop responses for environmental inquiries from clients, respond to external environmental questionnaires from investors and third-party environmental rating services, monitor external environmental ratings and evaluations for IBM and correct information as necessary, and assist with development of communications materials such as annual Environmental and Corporate Responsibility Reports, blog posts, websites, and other external disclosures with environmental content.This individual will work with IBM product and solutions experts to understand and develop communication materials which describe environmental benefits associated with products and solutions which address environmental concerns for IBM clients. Finally, this individual will provide assistance, advice and counsel to IBM solutions and offering teams on matters related to environmental disclosures.Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as engineering or science is preferred. Will consider a bachelor's degree in business or environmental management if candidate has other strong technical capabilities.

3+ years professional work experience dealing with environmental disclosures and reporting

Excellent oral and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate to a broad range of audiences.

Strong leadership and critical thinking skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Master’s degree in a technical field such as engineering or science is preferred. Will consider a bachelor's degree in business or environmental management if candidate has other strong technical capabilities.

Exposure to a broad range of environmental topics, either through course work or experience

Knowledge of environmental and sustainability reporting standards and frameworks

Experience with environmental issues and reporting associated with Information technology companies

Experience with website design and maintenance
