If so, lets talk.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities will include driving C-level, field and technology relationships with your partners and with IBM sales, guiding the development and launch of joint solutions and executing joint GTM plans globally. By establishing and growing strategic relationships while managing the day-to-day partner interactions, you will be responsible for driving top line revenue growth and overall market adoption for some of IBM's most strategic and global partners.

Overall relationship owner and leader

Engage each partner's field sales organizations, channels and end customers to create and drive revenue opportunities for IBM.

Ensure that there is a strategic business development plan for target markets and ensure it's in line with IBM's strategic direction. This includes the creation of detailed account plans to track partner progress and achievement to goals.

Set and manage revenue targets and MBOs and work with your team, your partner and IBM sales organizations to achieve/exceed goals.

Create and execute the team's business plan with key internal stakeholders

Understand the technical requirements of each partner and work closely with the internal AWS development team to guide the direction of our product offerings.

Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team.

Manage complex negotiations and serve as a liaison to the legal group.

Create and execute operational rigor including territory management, account management, and business reviews (internal/external).

Required Technical and Professional ExpertiseThe ideal candidate is a strong people leader capable of setting culture, establishing strategy and driving organizational alignment. This individual deeply understands our technology and can assess new opportunities and establish innovative and breakthrough approaches to translate that opportunity into revenue.

10-15 years of business development, alliance management and/or sales management experience in the technology/cloud services industry, with proven ability to build profitable global technology partnerships.

Ability to create and meet joint solution and GTM strategies and tactical plans.

Experience working with large, complex partners and accounts.

Consistently exceed quota and key performance metrics.

Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level executives.

Strong technical acumen, with a demonstrated track record of driving emerging/disruptive infrastructure software and hardware technologies as well as virtualization and Software as a Service delivery models.

Preferred Technical and Professional ExpertiseDeep familiarity with cloud and infrastructure technologies such as database, analytics, DevOps tools, application migration tools, security, IoT, storage, networking and datacenter products.About Business UnitAt IBM Cognitive Applications, we build open applications that unlock the power of data for clients, partners, and developers.
