RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking an Oracle Database Specialist in Armonk, NY.
Responsibilities of the Oracle Database Specialist: The Oracle Database Specialist will help architect and implement Oracle migration solutions Leading technical teams The Oracle Database Specialist will interact with and feedback to development organizations As the Oracle Database Specialist, you will size and scope services engagementsREQUIREMENTS: The Oracle Database Specialist will need a High School diploma or GED/equivalent; A Bachelor's degree is preferred 7+ years of experience deploying and/or administering Oracle Databases on Linux 5+ years of experience working with with Redhat, Canonical Ubuntu, or SUSE Linux distributions 5+ years of experience in client facing communications, requirements analysis, documentation, creating presentations, presenting to client staff, and speaking at an executive level 5+ years of experience working with clients that demonstrate strong problem determination and debugging skills 5+ years of experience administering Linux system including installation, maintenance, storage, and networking aspects Expert consultative knowledge on a wide array of Oracle based technologies Ability to interact with and present to client's Executive Management Experience deploying and/or experience in delivering IBM Z or LinuxONE implementations Experience deploying, installing and administering with z/VM or KVM Experience deploying and/or administering DB2 on Linux Experience deploying and/or administering WebSphere application server on Linux Experience deploying and/or administering KubernetesKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
