Job Description

Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join the Event Services Team at the University of Auckland.

You will primarily be responsible for; responding to new event enquiries and making room bookings, plus a wide range of financial administrative tasks such as, preparing sales reports, liaising with the central finance team, updating templates and manuals, setting up suppliers, reconciling accounts, invoicing and credit control.

You’ll need strong numeracy skills and attention to detail as you will be responsible for checking event budgets and reconciling accounts at the end of each conference/event.

Aminimum of one-two years’ experience in a similar role is required and a tertiary qualification is preferred. Experience with Salesforce or Centium EventsAIR would be an advantage.

This role would suit a go getter with excellent communication skills and experience with a range of financial administrative tasks. If you love spreadsheets and working with people then this could be the job for you!
