Job Description
- Community Nursing
- Full Time or Permanent Part Time (min 3 days pw)
- Based in Bathurst, NSW– visiting clients in their Homes within a 25 km radius
- Monday - Friday 0800-1630
Currently, we are looking for an experienced & passionate Registered Nurse to join our Community Nursing Team on a Permanent Part Time or Full Time basis. Based in Bathurst, you will be visiting clients in their homes within the Bathurst region. Your days will be varied and will includedressings, medication support, catheter changing and other duties.
As one of our exceptional Registered Nurses, you will provide holistic, safe and quality care to our clients consistent with our Mission, Philosophy and Values.
If you have the ability to work independently and have excellent written and verbal communication skills to allow you to liaise effectively with our clients, family members,doctors and other health professionals this could be the position for you. Your well developed time management, organisation and reporting skills to complete daily reports, are essential to aid you in your success.
To be considered for this great opportunity, you will possess the following:
- Current APHRA registration to practice as a Registered Nurse
- Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in Community based services is highly desirable
- Experience with wounds, and preferably qualifications and/or some course work in this.
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
- Willingness to obtain a National Criminal History Check
- Understanding of continuous quality improvement and accreditation
- Must be able to provide evidence of a 2021Flu Vaccination and COVID 19 vaccination (or willingness to obtain)
