Job Description
The Porter is responsible for keeping premises in clean and orderly condition. Also, responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and/or Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced.
Additional responsibilites include, but are not limited to:
- Cleans warehouse, offices, hallways, lobby, break room, rest rooms, corridors and other work areas
- Empties trash containers and transports waste to disposal area
- Replenishes bathroom and break room supplies
- Keeps walkways clean
- May perform light maintenance, operate shredder and baler
- Maintains a clean and orderly work area
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Basic mathematical skills
- Must be able to respond to verbal and written instructions
- Physical ability to repetitively lift, stand, climb, bend, etc. within a manufacturing environment
