The Support Technician II in this excellent position will repair and maintain assigned Apple or PC hardware, software, and Apple / Microsoft operating systems. This role will be providing support primarily (80%) in Bethpage, but will also be expected to spend time (20%) providing support in Ronkonkoma, NY. Scope of Activity:
- Microsoft operating system software
- Microsoft Office applications
- Desktop hardware and peripherals
- Desktop imaging tools
- Desktop network configuration
- Desktop software installation and configuration
- Executive support
- Smart Hands activity: Physical device count survey, basic patching, LED verification, crash cart assistance (console recorder / reporter), power cycling (reboot of equipment), replace media (i.e. USB thumb drive, DVD)
- 2-3 years of related support experience
- CompTIA A+ certification wanted
- Baseline OEM certifications include any of the following, depending on assignment: Dell Desktop / Laptop, client Desktop / Laptop / Printer, Lenovo Desktop / Laptop, Lexmark Printer, IBM Printer, Server +
- Technical college degree or comparable in Computer Science
