Exciting Job Opportunities for Entry Level Electrical Engineers in Bohemia, NY!Job Description:The position entails working together with engineering and production personnel to help test and evaluate company products. Candidates will be expected to know the basic principles of electronics theory and how to apply that in a technician environment. This means that they will know how to troubleshoot down to the component level and figure out what issues are with products without necessarily having a test procedure in front of them. The right candidate will be able to work mostly independently when working on products. They will also help to design certain test fixtures and fabricate them on the floor to assist with working on their products.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Associated degree or BSET degree in Electronics Technology or 10+ years of practical experience working as a technician in the aerospace field.
Prior experience troubleshooting to the component level on aerospace electronics.
Understanding of basic math and engineering principles.
Basic knowledge of CAD for simple drawings.
Understanding of schematics and circuitry.
Work EnvironmentThe candidate will be working on the shop floor in a bench technician environment. Their will be a number of folks out there working together. Some work will also be done in a cubicle environment where you will handle the basic design work they would be asked to do.
Candidates will gain a large amount of exposure to a varied amount of military, aerospace and commercial electronics in this role.
