100% ONSITE in Bronx, NY (No remote options or exceptions)Must have skills = ECS Nice to have skills = Security focus in regards to the way data sits within the ECS environmentProject Tasks: Customer is new to ECS and ideally the account team would like to start the resident during the deployment to give the resident firsthand insight into the design and deployment he will support when the deployment is complete. The ideal candidate will need to:- Have strong consultative skills to help the customer in their new ECS environment.
- Full understanding of Dell ECS/operating system
- Understanding of Object storage
- Replication, S3 protocol
- Knowledge of how Isilon/NetApp integrate with ECS
- Day to day ECS administrative tasks/activities
- Assist with ECS reporting
- General troubleshooting/optimization - ensure the customer understands how to manage the ECS environment once residency is completed
- Resident needs to be confident and proactive in providing best practice recommendations to the customer
- Conducts knowledge transfer to address the Customer's skills and resource gaps as well as technology recommendations.
- Share best practice methodologies throughout the residency assignment
- Resident is expected to be self-directed, able to accomplish tasks with little to no direction from the customer
