RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce is working with a well-known e-Commerce firm located in Brooklyn, New York (NY) to find a UX/UI Designer. In this role, there is some remote flexibility.
Summary:We are seeking a motivated UX/UI Designer who thrives in a team environment, has a strong design portfolio, and wants to be part of a quickly growing, agile, and progressive team. The role includes designing, building, supporting, and delivering groundbreaking new products while managing our existing product portfolio of software, analytics, and SaaS-based products. The emphasis for this role is on the UX designer piece. We are not looking for generalist. You will with Design Teams on best practices and design guidelines. In this role, you will lead the development of concept sketches and storyboards, detailed interaction designs and screen flows, and prototypes to clearly articulate solutions and guide agile teams.Responsibilities: Contribute wireframes, user flows, interaction prototypes, high fidelity mockups, user personas, customer journeys, site maps Conduct user research, experience design, rapid prototyping, usability testing Design internal portal pages and analytics dashboards Understand complex technical and business requirements into elegant design decisions based on data, trends, and industry best practices Present, articulate, and sell design ideas to product management and business stakeholders Take stakeholder feedback on designs and incorporate them to drive value Synthesize information to create wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes Document and maintain user interface design specifications and templates Collaborate with other UX designers to translate requirements for use by Engineering colleagues Work with the engineering team to implement UI patterns and ensure design specifications are implemented with visual consistency across all products and demosREQUIREMENTS: 5+ years of experience creating process flows, user flows, prototypes, highly detailed wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups for early-stage ideas and complex web (enterprise and mobile preferred) applications Excellent track record in prior work of user research, experience design, rapid prototyping, usability testing Core design skills: information architecture, UX documentation, visual communication, and hierarchy Experience using Figma or other design, wireframing, and prototyping tools Ability to sketch and generate big-picture ideas for early-stage UX work Ability to cover end-to-end process, (i.e., plan/drive research, hands-on design, workflow & user interface, and work with the development team to implement) Experience designing from a UI design pattern library A mix of wireframe, UX/UI, and visual design + leadership skills Has an online portfolio that communicates thought processes and techniques Demonstrated experience in responsive and mobile-first design Solid understanding of design principles and design systems Possesses a solid foundation in business-centric designKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
