- Provide Subject Matter Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics CRM and/or Salesforce;
- Understand business needs and elicit, document, and validate business requirements;
- Analyze “as is” and “to be” business processes and conduct Gap Analysis;
- Evaluate current business processes against the standard Microsoft Dynamics CRM and/or Salesforce functionality, and translate them into functional requirements and designs;
- Conceptualize and design best-practice solutions that leverage product and industry knowledge, as directed by requirements;
- Create, socialize, and refine detailed functional designs with other project team leads and client business representatives;
- Prepare analysis and design deliverables, including high-level and detailed requirements, user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, process flows, data dictionaries, data and UML models, content and message inventories, mock-ups, and solution designs;
- Communicate designs to business, development, testing and training teams, and manage design updates;
- Provide insight into designs, verify test conditions, and assist with User Acceptance Testing and Demonstrations;
- Validate that the application fulfils requirements and meets end user expectations;
- Manage defect triage during internal and external testing events;
- Work with agency stakeholders, project managers, and project/product team(s) to obtain consensus and signoff on requirements and solution design deliverables;
- Support project teams and customers in their understanding of end user and constituent needs, COTS-focused design, and Solution Design processes/methodologies;
- Work with solution architects to support solution analysis, feasibility assessments, and value assessments as needed to recommend IT solutions to meet business and end user needs;
- Provide peer review and peer support to other business analysts and solution designers in the group;
- Provide mentoring to other BA’s to improve their delivery of BA and SD services;
- Create, maintain, and conduct business analysis and solution design workshops;
- Assist in creating new business analysis and solution design standards and guidelines and in adoption of new and emerging technologies and practices;
- Transition all project artifacts and knowledge prior to disengaging from a project;
- Perform special projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Ability to clearly articulate and document business and technical information to achieve a common understanding by all project team members and stakeholders;
- 5+ years’ work experience, with 3+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst and Solution Designer;
- 3+ years’ of relevant experience working with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and/or Salesforce;
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM and/or Salesforce concepts (i.e., Configuration, Customization, Workflow, Integration, etc.);
- Deep know-how and proven record with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and/or Salesforce implementation lifecycle (participated in at least one implementation);
- Experience developing and employing functional project artifacts (Solution Designs, Use Cases, User Stories, Requirements Definitions, Process Definitions, User interface Design);
- Experience working with formal SDLCs, business analysis methodologies, and major project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.);
- Experience using standard project tools including Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint;
- Proven experience in defining requirements for solutions in multiple-entity environments (multiple agencies, business partners, etc.);
- Experience with Portals for Microsoft Dynamics CRM and/or Salesforce;
- Experience with Unified Service Desk for Microsoft Dynamics 365;
- Experience in performing Analysis and Design on large systems integration projects with multiple organizations;
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or other issue/project tracking/management tool;
- Ability to take initiative, be a decisive decision-maker, and show confidence in decisions made;
- Ability to take strategic direction from executive management and participate in strategic planning activities throughout the lifetime of the project;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate to all project members and stakeholders;
- Team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources;
- Should be organized and good at managing deliverables, meeting notes, presentations, and other documentation/communications;
- Microsoft Dynamics CRM and/or Salesforce certification(s) a plus.
