Job Details:Title: Data Conversion Analyst Location: Buffalo, NYDuration: 24 months Roles & Responsibilities:) Client is seeking a data conversion specialist to join an interdisciplinary and cross-functional team and assist in the implementation of a new revenue cycle platform.) Candidates must have knowledge of tools and technologies used to extract data from multiple- possibly siloed systems and transform this data into the format required by the target system.) The candidate will need to determine and document the specifications required to transfer data from legacy systems, perform any necessary transformations, and import data into the new platform.) They will work with the implementation team and develop tests to ensure that the data is in the correct format, address any errors or issues that may have occurred, and document the process.) Data will be extracted from multiple legacy systems, stored in an enterprise data warehouse, and imported into the new platform.) Once the new platform is live, data will also be extracted out of the new platform and stored in the data warehouse for analysis. Basic Qualifications:) The candidate must be familiar with SQL, and relational databases such as MySQL/Oracle/SQL Server, ETL pipelines, REST/SOAP APIs, and FTP.) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills, are required.) Programming languages such as PHP, Python, JavaScript, or other scripting languages for extracting/transforming data as well as experience with git is required. Preferred skills:) Knowledge of hospital-based information systems is preferred. Experience with Cerner Invision, Athena IDX, or other revenue cycle products is a plus.)
