DescriptionThe work you'll do:
Program, set up, and operate CNC/manual, milling/drill and tapping machines, and lathes using a full complement of tools including fixtured and open set-up. The operations include threading, boring, milling, drilling, and custom part modifications.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, sales orders, and sketches of standard and modified parts.
Obtain and maintain Operation Inspection Certification for work cell operations (product verification).
Perform all assembly functions related to IP Product Line which lend themselves to AMS cell manufacturing.
Must be a self-motivated individual working within a team cell, have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, have good communication skills to work with various departments, develop daily workloads and provide rapid turnaround while maintaining customer delivery and quality requirement.
This is a second shift position that would be training on first shift for approximately 6 months
First shift hours are 7am - 3:30pm Monday-Friday
The compensation is $22.73 - $25.25 per hour (First shift) to $24.23 - $26.75 per hour (Second Shift). While training on first shift you would make the regular rates, once moved to second shift, there will be a pay differential of $1.50 added to your first shift rate.
