.NET Software Engineer

Position Description CGI is seeking to hire a .NET Engineer in upstate NY area. In this role, you will be a part of an agile team to design, build and maintain a high performing application for a large U.S. Financial Institution. This is an exciting opportunity to work with CGI's Banking practice, to help innovate, modernize and deliver technical products. You will be exposed to and work with seasoned client personnel in helping them satisfy critical business objectives. Must be located in Eastern Time Zone (NY/NJ/CT preferred)

Your future duties and responsibilities• Planning, analysis, design, and coding software applications• Ensure high code quality through unit and functional testing• Ensure adherence to client technology standards and procedures• Debug programs and troubleshoot application issues• Prepare and maintain comprehensive system low level design documentation

Required qualifications to be successful in this role• Minimum of 5 years' system analysis and application development experience• Strong understanding of Software Design principles• Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving abilities• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with targeted milestone deliverables.• Exposure to Automated Unit Testing technologiesTech Stack: C#, ASP.NET
