Summary of Role \: GLOBALFOUNDRIES Fab 10 is seeking highly skilled and motivated Engineers to be part of the Scheduling and Dispatching Team. As a Scheduling and Dispatching Endgineer, you will be supporting the Fishkill 300mm and SMS Semiconductor Operations by developing, testing, and deploying logistics rules to control the flow of wip thru the Fab. Your role will require expertise in transforming large amounts of diverse data associated with the Manufacturing Environment into logical rules that the Scheduling and Dispatching Systems utilize. The Scheduling and Dispatching Systems are a 24x7 set of applications in support of the manufacturing operations, so periodic off-shift and/or on call coverage will be required for urgent issues. Essential Responsibilities \:

  • Have experience with Scheduling Rule programming.
  • Demonstrated experience in data mining, manipulating, and merging complex data sets.
  • Demonstrated ability with CPlex systems
  • Demonstrated experience working within UNIX Environment.
  • Have experience with JAVA programming.
  • Have the desire and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the productivity and accuracy of the Scheduling and Dispatching Systems.
  • Build upon the relationships with internal partners such as Production Control, Manufacturing Operations, Engineering, and Value Stream Teams as appropriate.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Embrace OneGF by working with peers in other fabs to implement best known processes.

Qualification: Required Qualifications \:
  • Education\: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technologies, Optimization/Operations Research, Engineering or other related technical discipline.
  • Experience\: 0-2 years of relevant experience
  • Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
Preferred Qualifications\:
  • Be a team player and have a "whatever it takes" approach.
  • CPlex systems experience
  • Positive, professional, energetic, can-do attitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills, and presentation skills.
