Follow us on Twitter at @EpsilonMktg.Job DescriptionThis role focuses on DB development support for SQL Server and Oracle, as well as application support for linux and windows environments.As a member of the team you will be tasked with working autonomously to problem solve when issues occur and work with client facing teams to resolve issues. An equal part of the position also supports underlying technologies and including creating/improving development environment standards and applications.Tasks and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot underlying technologies, both internal and third-party.
- Actively seek code improvements - identify and correct problems, bottlenecks.
- Apply thorough QA approach to all development tasks and deliver quality results on schedule.
- Identify and lead improvements in development environment and approach.
- Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with both technical and business staff.
- Assume responsibility for selected projects.
- Document programs and program designs
- Demonstrated ability to independently identify and research issues, followed by recommendation and implementation of efficient solutions.
- Professionalism, proactive communication, and ability to multitask in a versatile business environment.
- Proven problem solving skills and aptitude, attention to detail.
- Expertise in relational databases, data warehousing, CRM, ETL toolsets, name/address parsing and matching, Data Quality, SDLC.
- OS/Languages: Linux/Windows, Python, batch scripting, MS SQL or PL/SQL, Java.
- Database experience: SQL Server, Oracle.
- History of collaborative design, development, and QA approach producing timely, high quality results.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
