About the position:

We're looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to assist with how we design, manufacture, and test our products. You will:
  • Provide technical support to a variety of internal customers, and external suppliers to solve quality and supply issues.
  • Provide input to, develop, and lead department recommendations for design and procedure modifications and enhancements.
  • Depending on qualifications and interest, you could work in one of the variety of areas: automation, assembly process, energy storage solution process, paint application, etc.
  • Participate as a member of interdepartmental or product design teams.
  • Perform tests or experiments requiring the use of non-standard procedures and complex instrumentation.
  • Lead small projects that are semi-complex in nature.
  • Presents project status to senior management and executive staff. Recommend changes in project direction in response to changing business requirements.
  • Analyze and evaluate procedures and makes modifications as required.
  • Keep abreast of innovation in state-of-the-art engineering techniques.

About you:
  • Bachelor's degree in an applicable engineering field or a professional license.
  • 1+ years of engineering experience.
  • Creative and innovative.
  • Ability to periodically travel domestically or internationally.
  • Strong analytical ability to recognize the need for modification of procedures or processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to show responsiveness and tact when exchanging information or influencing others.
  • Team player, flexible, adaptable, and dependable.
It would be great if you had:
  • Project management experience.
  • Experience leading technical groups.
  • Understanding of motors, batteries, and hydraulics.
  • Experience with hand tools (precision measurement devices, torque wrenches, etc.).

About the total compensation package:

Salary - Expected to be between $70,000 and $90,000 depending on the selected candidate's background.
