We have an opening for a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer. This is a unique opportunity to join an excellent team and have a meaningful impact on the Quality Engineering (QE) and automation process and culture. This is a role focused on building out test automation and processes to ensure the quality of Broadridge internally written applications.The ideal candidate will creating automated testing solutions in support of the Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams. This unique role requires providing automated validated solutions in a non-functional capacity. This role is considered hybrid, which means youll be assigned to a Broadridge officeandgiven the flexibility to work remotely.Responsibilities:

Support QA Tools and activities as needed.

Define test strategy, test suites & test cases with a focus on test automation.

Develop and maintain automated scripts promoting reusable components and maintainability.

Execute automated scripts and perform failure analysis to determine root cause of failure.

Assist with triage, diagnosis, and resolution of issues discovered across the platform.

Define and implement improvements to our existing processes and automated tools with the goal of increased testing scope and efficiency.

Work closely with Software Engineers and Product teams to understand the complex ecosystems of the Broadridge Investor Communications Solutions platforms.

Where necessary, develop and execute manual test cases.

Drive the conversion of manual tests to automated whenever possible. Supporting manual testing efforts while the transition is in process.

Uphold the ICS Quality organizations standards and procedures, including our coding best practices.

Contribute to end-to-end user acceptance tests.

Work with both onshore and offshore teams to meet objectives and deadlines.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in UI automation (Serenity/Selenium, Robot, Watir)

Passion around driving best practices in the testing space.

Knowledge of software engineering practices and agile approaches.

Proficiency CICD integration and pipeline development in Jenkins, Spinnaker or other similar tools.

Experience in Gherkin (BDD /TDD) using Cucumber/Jbehave.

Experience using JIRA, ALM, Xray or any relevant Test management tool.

Proficiency in Scripting (Python, Powershell, Perl, Shell Scripts etc.) and automation skills.

Ability to quickly troubleshoot and diagnose issues within the quality assurance environment and communicate that knowledge to a varied audience of technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Strong desire for establishing and improving product quality.

Self-motivated and adaptable individual able to evaluate, maintain and prioritize multiple objectives simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Willingness to take challenges head on while being part of a team.

Background in DevOps or Production Support is a plus.

Ability to work under tight deadlines and within a team environment.

UFT/Selenium experience in building object repositories, standard & custom checkpoints, parameterization, reusable functions, recovery scenarios, descriptive programming, and API testing.

Knowledge of VBScript, C#, Java, HTML, and SQL.

Experience using GIT or other Version Control Systems.

Experience developing, supporting, and/or testing web applications.

Understanding of the need for testing of security requirements.

Ability to understand API JSON and XML formats with experience using API testing tools like Postman, Swagger or SoapUI.

Excellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
