Cisco Router/Switch & Protocol Engineer: Very Flex location with Semi Remote capabilities!

As our client continues to grow and roll out new product offerings focused on fiber to the rural technologies, departments are expanding and teams are growing at this very successful long-term stable client. This newly created department has a small but impressive team and is looking to grow.
Ideally, he/she will be focused primarily on Cisco routers and switches at the core of the network with additional knowledge and skills with non-mission critical access gear at customer sites. This role has ownership in customer and vendor interaction, ensuring the network is running smoothly and services are delivered with minimal downtime.
The "right" background and skills needed to successfully fulfill this role and have a chance to grow with this company:
Minimum 2-5 years of experience with heavy Cisco routers and switches
Minimum 2-5 years day to day experience with BGP, OSPF, Layer 2/3 protocols
Additional exposure to and hands on knowledge of ADTRAN, Metro Ethernet, SIP & Wireless Blue Socket is needed
MUST HAVE: Clean background and be eligible to permanently work in the US without sponsorship.

If you have just a few years of experience working within a CLEC/TELCO and are incredibly motivated to advance your career in the same field, he wants to review your credentials. Here's the nitty gritty details about this role, the company and the team assembled:
The heavier the knowledge of the above skill set will push up the base salary. Up to $95k with the ability to work semi remote for expert level. If you have a well-rounded background (minimum 5 years of experience) with ALL of the above skill sets at expert level, you will be able to experience a 3 day/week in office while the remainder of your work week can be done from home.
