Position Summary
The cleaner is responsible for cleaning the exterior and interior of food production equipment, along with maintaining the production area while working in a warm, humid environment. Documentation of activities is recorded by the cleaner.

Essential Duties (includes, but is not limited to)
Sweep, dust mop and wet mop floor of the product areas including under dryers.
Brush, wipe and vacuum exterior of processing equipment.
Maintain stairs, platforms, and tops of dryers and other elevated areas.
Scrape, scrub and wipe the interior of mixers and dryers.
Use and maintain floor scrubbing equipment.
Follow all food safety, personal safety, and personnel rules and regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job duties may be modified at any time.
Minimum Requirements
HS diploma or GED is required.
Must have the ability to work independently as well as with team members.
Must be able to take directions from Supervisor.
Must be able to perform all physical aspects of the above duties.
Requires basic oral and written communication skills.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
Must be dependable and consistently report to work on time.
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and industrial plant safety requirements a plus.
