TSR is a premier National U.S. Staffing company with over 50 years of staffing excellence.Our client, a leading Financial Services company, is hiring a Treasury Data Management Lead Analyst on an initial 5 month W2 contract basisWork Location: Getzville, NY (remote until further notice)Overview:Treasury Data Management Senior AnalystThe Treasury Data Management Senior Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Excellent communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.Responsibilities:" Assists in leading Treasury efforts to provide accurate information of the highest quality to customers, shareholders and regulators, grounded in developing and instituting the most efficient production processes." Participates in defining and establishing appropriate data standards, understanding the data needs of regulatory and internal reporting, the acquisition of that data, the financial reconciliation and Data Quality measurement of that data and fixing issues at source through the Issue Management Resolution process and other transformation programs." Works to ensure that functions are compliant with Major Financial Institution Treasury Data Management Policy" Provides regular status updates to Senior Management and Stakeholders" Responsible for coordinating control activities for the reconciliations and proof functions performed daily by the group." Monitors the aged general ledger accounts" Researches and refers open items, resolves problems, the" Reports on daily performance of the Transaction Authentication Function, running daily and weekly reports, creating weekly MIS reporting, and participating in projects that affect the proof/recon functions." Revises and updates department procedures is required." Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision." Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy." Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members."
