Job Description

As a Cybersecurity Analyst you will monitor, triage, and set forth remediation plans to mitigate security risks and ensure threats are identified, analyzed, and mitigated 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will be responsible for monitoring, triaging and implementing remediation plans to mitigate security vulnerabilities and resole and patch OS or software vulnerabilities. This includes identifying and analyzing potential security vulnerabilities and emerging threats as well as documenting and containing security incidents detected on the network. You will also execute incident response process when a security incident has been declared.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 4 years of total combined higher education and related work experience including:
    • Bachelors degree in Information Security, Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 1 year experience with access management
  • At least 1 year experience with security management

Expectations
  • Must reside in or around the Glens Falls, NY area
  • Ability to obtain the following certifications within 6 months of employment: GCIA, CEH, GCIH, SCYBER
  • Willing to travel up to 20% as needed
  • Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
