Helps in escorting or transporting patients within facility.
Handles items in accordance with operating procedures.
Ensures timely delivery of items to appropriate locations; communicates delays in delivery / pickup time, as required.
Operates transport vehicles both on and off property.
Performs pre-trip inspection of assigned vehicle.
Maintains vehicle mileage records.
Operates all vehicles in accordance with applicable laws; fuels vehicles as necessary.
Informs management of all vehicle activities and issues.

Job QualificationHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.
Valid Driver's License in New York State required, plus specialized certifications as needed.
