This individual will play a pivotal role in the research and development of our data products, drive better and faster decision making for our sales and service centers, and identify actionable insights for our customers while working concurrently with management to make strategic recommendations and business decisions.Job requirements:- Requires SQL expertise
- Experience in successful API integrations desired
- Designs information systems and/or utilizes existing systems to extract, review, analyze, and interpret complex data and make appropriate recommendations to management.
- As an individual researcher, performs complex or novel assignments requiring development of new and/or improved techniques and procedures.
- Independently identifies and learns applicable new techniques as needed.
- Proven ability to query databases and apply advanced data manipulation techniques across multiple sources. After reviewing and analyzing data, design reports to show statistics and other information about specific database topics.
- Proven ability to integrate data from multiple data sets into one database system to streamline information.
- Demonstrated skills in data mining, machine learning, programing, and dynamic optimization. Ability to perform program specific database functions and write scripts to create database triggers, design data tables and perform specific data queries.
- Create and/or propose solutions to upper management and stakeholders.
- Responsible for implementing recommended database solutions including developing process flows, coordinating with data engineers and analysts, documenting the installation process, and training new users.
- SQL, data modeling tools, R Studio, Python, Microsoft Access, Excel, statistical software, standard Microsoft Office Suite, and other programming languages.
- Solid project management skills consistent with PMI principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills; ability to mine large datasets and surface actionable insights.
- Passion for empirical research and answering hard questions with data.
- A Bachelor's Degree is preferred in a data-driven field
