EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • Four year college degree
  • 3 years of Lending Compliance experience
  • Regulatory compliance certification preferred CRCM, CRCMP, CCEP, CUCE or other designations afforded by accredited financial agencies such as NAFCU, CUNA, ABA.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following.
  • Keeping abreast of all regulatory requirements as applicable to the designated retail/digital lines of business.
  • Conducts transaction testing based on identified weaknesses; potential risk; and/or possible civil money penalties identified during reviews or audit findings. Provide key results and suggested remediation for all findings such as training or procedural improvements ensuring alignment with state/federal law and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor regulatory changes, NCUA webinars, CFPB proposed rule or other changes and document changes to help them facilitate implementation.
  • Assist with existing and help develop new risk assessments, as part of monitoring/testing, regarding compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Responsible for supporting the growth of the Compliance Review Schedule regarding operational related regulations.
  • Conduct third party service oversight as well as coordinate the GRC solution Quantitate between business units to afford a holistic framework for Credit Union governance program.
  • Support efforts regarding oversight on consumer harm/violations and ensure immediate action is taken on all findings.
Performs other duties as needed upon request by immediate supervisor.
