Program Manager, 6 months + extensions, Remote but Highly prefers local to HermitageLooking for a seasoned program manager with experience with handle multiple work threads and challenging stakeholders. Experience with various HR Systems (ie Avature). Strong communication skills (written and verbal). Preferred if local to Hermitage but not mandatory.Description:Under the guidance and direction of client, the Program Manager will have the following responsibilities:" Administers all aspects of System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Project Delivery Process for strategic projects and programs that ranges in scope, team size, complexity and budgets of $1M or more." Oversees the activities of cross functional and project teams within assigned areas to ensure delivery of solutions are on time and within budget." Ensures the business needs are understood and the technology implemented meets the needs and expectations of the business." Uses Project & Portfolio Management Tool (PPM) to build detailed, effort-driven project schedules." Responsible for providing and maintaining accurate and timely project/program information in all project/program plans, communications, status reporting, collaboration sites and presentations." Responsible for effective project/program kick-off, which includes identifying program stakeholders, defining and clarifying roles and responsibilities." Works with account team leadership to develop a budget and help prioritize planned and unplanned development and maintenance project engagements." Works with stakeholders across the organization to review, validate and rationalize information." Ensures all development and maintenance projects/programs are in accordance with IT strategy, and Project Management Office (PMO) delivery standards." Presents potential opportunities to improve productivity, time-to-market, solutions quality, and cost effectiveness." Provides portfolio-level reporting, metrics and support to IT account team and other stakeholders/customers." Documents and escalates issues, potential risks, and proposed decisions to IT leaders or other stakeholders as necessary.o Ensures project/program documentation is completed in collaboration with PMO e.g., project initiation documentation, budget, project plan, and resource plan.Qualifications:" PMP certification or industry experience in running projects/programs per PMI standards." 10 or more years of experience managing large cross functional IT projects as a Project Manager (PM)." 7 years leading all phases of a business solution delivery life cycle: planning, analysis, design, build, test, and deployment." Experience working within a team environment, administer multiple projects, and adapt to frequent change." Expert problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other teams to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions." Expert background in project delivery best practices." Expert-level interpersonal, relationship building, and customer service orientation." Expert-level ability to communicate (oral and written) at all levels of the organization." Significant experience in working with onshore/offshore teams." Agile project experience." Proficient in PPM tools such as ServiceNow and Microsoft office suite, with advanced to expert PowerPoint/Excel skills."
