Title : Electrical Engineer/Electrical Design Engineer Location : Holtsville, NY Duration : 9 Months Description: Mgr & his team are currently working a hybrid schedule where they come in the office a few days & work from home a few days. This would be allowed for this candidate as well. Client is planning to have everyone return back to the office in Sept, but this is contingent on safety guidelines & approval. Assignment Length: This is a 9 month assignment, but the right candidate can be extended & potentially converted to a full-time employee Interview Process: Mgr will phone screen the candidate first & will then schedule a MS Teams meeting w/the candidate & the team. Ideal candidate has high-volume commercial product design experience, has built widgets, automotive & healthcare candidates have also worked out well in the past- but this is not a requirement. They will be testing the prototype to ensure it is ready for production. Someone with micro processing experience would be ideal. Resiliency Project Support Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment, or other hardware systems and/or electrical engineering applications. Determines design approaches and parameters. Analyzes equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results. Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability. May also review vendor capability to support product development. Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree is preferred. Minimum of 2-5 years of experience. Understands schematics and electronic documentation. Has CAE experience (e.g. Cadence Schematic entry/Design tools). Is comfortable with electronics test and measurement equipment including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers and other common lab equipment.
