Our client in Poughkeepsie is looking for multiple Material Handlers for their expansive warehouse to work in one of the following departments; shipping, receiving, packing, picking or assembly. No transportation? No problem! This client is conveniently located on the bus route.
All Material Handlers will be trained on how to use a forklift and receive a free forklift certification!
The Material Handlers will be responsible for receiving, storing and distributing materials and equipment throughout the warehouse.
The Material Handlers must:
Be able to lift at least 50 pounds
Be able to stand for long periods of time
Have a flexible schedule and the ability to work mandatory overtime as required- including long week days and weekend hours
Have a positive attitude and be a team player
Have steel toed boots
Have strong computer skills
This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position with 1st and 2nd shift openings. 1st shift is 7am-3:30pm and 2nd shift is 2:30pm-11pm. Days worked will typically be Monday-Friday, but there may also be occasional weekend over time. Pay rate will be starting at $14.50 per hour.
Employees will be required to comply with background and drug screening before starting work.
