WonderDog Rescue is looking to fill 2 full time positions at our rescue facility.
Employee responsibilities would include caring for our rescue dogs, feeding, cleaning and overall help maintaining the facility. Must have previous experience with dogs.
List of job Requirements:
-Maintain a clean and safe environment for pets by cleaning living areas.
-Engage in playtime and exercise activities to keep pets physically active and mentally stimulated.
-Monitor pet behavior and health, reporting any concerns to the owner promptly.
-Perform basic grooming tasks such as brushing fur and bathing when necessary.
-Ensure all pets are secure during visits and outings to prevent escapes or injuries.
-Maintain accurate records of pet care routines.
-Experience in animal handling or pet care is preferred; familiarity with various breeds is a plus.
-Skills in pet grooming or veterinary assistance are highly desirable.
-Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary (e.g., lifting large dogs or equipment).
-Strong communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs.
