Ophthalmology practice is looking for a medical receptionist to work in a fast paced multi physician practice. Responsibilities include but are not limited to scheduling appointments, registering patients and handling patient calls. Candidate will be responsible for taking and relaying messages to the doctors and working closely with office staff. The ideal candidate will have some physician or hospital experience and basic understanding of best healthcare practices and medical terminology. The ideal medical receptionist should be energetic and have great interpersonal/customer service skills. Hours may vary Monday through Friday.
