We are an Early Care and Education Program for children ages 18 mo. - 3 years old.
Needed:
Fun and energetic people who love to work with children in a supportive team teaching atmosphere. We are located in downtown Ithaca, NY.
Duties:
Interact and supervise children in a nurturing, fun, and respectful way. Take turns with other teachers to create daily activities. Prepare food, clean up, help kids with bathroom needs. Other duties as they arise such as paperwork, email, publishing student work, etc.
Compensation:
Salary will be paid on an hourly basis at a rate of $11.00-$14.00/hour. Higher pay for individuals with appropriate teaching certifications and/or advanced college degrees. Please see below.

Experienced caring for young children
At least 18 years of age
Ability to lift 35 pounds
Ability to do physical labor
HS diploma or equivalent
Clean Fingerprints
A team player
Good attitude
Work well with children and parents
Individuals holding ECE (Early Childhood Education) credit hours or CDA (Child Development Associate) credit hours, or a degree in Education/Early Childhood Education are encouraged to apply, however the above is not necessary. Experience and enthusiasm for quality care of children is paramount.
