JOB SUMMARY: Park Grove, LLC is seeking an outgoing, energetic sales driven Leasing Agent to show and lease apartments and to provide exceptional service to a Community in Ithaca, NY.
Leasing Agents are community ambassadors between the public, the residents and the management team. They provide value and quality by assessing the needs of every client and providing solutions. It is extremely important that our Leasing Agents be customer service oriented and strive to make current residents feel welcome in their new apartment home.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein. Additional duties or job functions that can be performed safely may be required as deemed necessary by supervisory personnel.
Proactively manage sales, outreach and lead generations, converting leads into sales. This includes interacting with the neighborhood groups and community organizations
Create sales from telephone calls, emails, and other lead sources
Perform market analysis to help understand and utilize traffic patterns in the local area
Demonstrate apartments and answer prospective residents questions
Provide a professional, positive and engaging experience for prospects while touring the apartment homes and community
Process apartment applications, draft and execute lease agreements and lease renewals, accurately completing all related paperwork
Collect rental deposits and other application related fees, monthly rental payments, and purse delinquent balances with the instruction of the Property Manager
Thorough knowledge of lease agreements, rules and regulations and all community policies
Responsible to conduct out-reach marketing in the local area as needed
Responsible for insuring target apartments are ready for show
Responsible for maintaining work areas and office in clean and orderly manner
Have awareness of the curb appealĀ of the property, and pick up trash or debris daily upon inspection
Ensure apartment is ready for residents move-in on a scheduled date by inspecting at minimum of one day prior
Conduct move-in and move-out inspections for new and vacating residents
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Weekend hours are required
Previous customer service experience is required; leasing and/or sales experience highly preferred
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to quickly develop rapport with prospective residents
Must be motivated self-starter with the ability to work well in a team setting
Valid New York State Drivers License
Must have background screening
