Computer Room is a small local company providing computer repair and IT consulting services. Our clients range from individual home users to mid sized businesses with multiple locations. We are seeking an experienced computer repair technician to work primarily in our shop and occasionally at our clients locations.
Job responsibilities include:
-Checking in (entering tickets) for new repairs.
-Diagnosing problems and communicating repair options and costs to customers.
-Repairing all makes and models of desktop and laptop computers.
Applicants should have the following skills:
-Hardware/software troubleshooting experience on both Windows and Apple devices.
-In-depth knowledge of Windows 7-10 and MacOS.
-Familiarity with commonly used applications including MS Office, Adobe Suite, and Quickbooks
-Knowledge of basic networking, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Router and Switch configuration, VLANs, and wireless setup/troubleshooting
-Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
-Ability to work independently with minimal direction
-Good customer service and interpersonal skills
-Familiarity with managing Windows Servers is a plus
