Adecco is assisting a local client located in Latham, NY. They are looking for a temporary Claims Processor. This is a great job opportunity with a great company!Summary: The Claims Processor is responsible for prepping, scanning, and performing a quality check of incoming claims received for processing. Enter data or vertex service information from scanned images into MACESS Claim Management System.Job Duties:Â
Use the Image Scanner to scan incoming claims from the original document(s) and check specifications for scans for accuracy and quality requirements.
Perform data entry and coding.
Prepare documents: removing physical breaks and placing a €barcode target sheet€ in place of physical breaks.
Perform vertex verification.
Review output images for overall quality.
Assist with clerical functions as needed by the department.
Adheres to privacy, confidentiality and proprietary company policies and procedures (i.e. HIPAA).
Participates in any/all training and educational activities necessary to fulfill at least the minimum requirements as specified within your departmental goals. This is in addition to the completion of any activities necessary for the maintenance of professional affiliations or organizational requirements.
Diligently maintains the cleanliness of all equipment, workstations and the overall facility on a daily basis.
Complete additional responsibilities as required by changing business needs.
 Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
