About Us
We are an established window repair and restoration company specializing in wood window restoration for residential and commercial properties. Our projects are located throughout Long Island and New York City, with our main office based in Oceanside, NY. We are looking to build a reliable bench of experienced subcontractors for ongoing and seasonal projects.
Scope of Work
Projects may include:
Wood window restoration and repair
Sash repair, rot repair, glazing, and putty work
Hardware repair or replacement
Window alignment and weatherproofing
Historic and older wood windows (experience preferred)
Work is project-based and scheduled as needed depending on workload.
Pay (Based on Experience)
Entry-level restoration experience: paid per project or per day at an entry-level subcontractor rate
Experienced window restorer: paid per project or per day at a higher rate based on proven skill and independence
Advanced / historic window specialist or crew lead: paid at a premium rate for complex restoration projects
Final pay is determined by experience, speed, quality of workmanship, and project complexity.
Requirements
Proven experience working with wood windows (restoration, not replacement-only)
Own tools and reliable transportation
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Professional workmanship and attention to detail
Must be legally able to work as a subcontractor (1099)
Liability insurance preferred (or willingness to obtain)
